Gästehaus Bettina

We'd happily spend another holiday at Pension Bettina. The owners were lovely, and breakfast was fantastic. We had a wonderful few days and enjoyed our stay very much.

The evening was lovely on the little balcony, with a view of the lake. We stayed in the modern Abendrot apartment, which has a kitchen with a dishwasher. Mrs. Beirer was always happy to help, from suggesting bike routes to pointing us toward a good restaurant, and she made a point of chatting with guests at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and varied too. We were only there for a short break, but felt at home from the first minute and will definitely return. 😀

Breakfast was a real highlight, with freshly cooked eggs, juice, specialty coffees and fresh rolls. In good weather, you can eat on the terrace. The hostess was warm and friendly, and the house is quiet, a little above the lake, so we didn't hear the traffic and noise down by the water. There’s plenty of parking right outside. The rooms are a bit dated, but very clean, spacious and carefully maintained, with a sofa and table. Highly recommended!

The family running the guesthouse were helpful, accommodating and very friendly. The lady of the house was always glad to offer advice on excursions, and breakfast in the guesthouse dining room was generous and excellent. We rented the log cabin beside Bettina's guesthouse for our family of four, with children aged 7 and 8. It sleeps seven, so there was lots of room. There’s a bathroom with a sink, toilet and a comfortably large shower, plus a kitchen area with a large fridge and sink. No stove or microwave, but there’s a charcoal grill outside. The cabin is just 200 meters above Lake Constance. We had a wonderful short break during the Pentecost holidays, and hope to book it again.
