My daughter wouldn't sleep in the room, so I ended up booking another hotel. The layout was awkward, with huge furniture in the way, and even using the toilet was difficult because of the door. Such a pity, since my girlfriend is Greek and I was really looking forward to trying the Greek restaurant. It was closed while the owners were away, and Booking.com hadn't mentioned that.

Women traveling alone should avoid this place. The owner, or possibly a relative, behaved in a highly inappropriate way toward women and made me feel unsafe. I'll notify the local Polizei too.

The food was pretty good, the portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. But service was a mess tonight. We waited about 40 minutes just to order, and they came over as we were about to leave with our two very hungry daughters. The drinks took almost another 30 minutes. We didn't wait around for the bill, figuring it would take another half hour, so we worked out the total ourselves and left the cash on the table.

The place feels very old-fashioned, with the rooms above the restaurant and reception inside it. There was a kitchen smell, and the rooms facing the street were noisy. At least it was clean and the staff were friendly. Fine if you just need somewhere to sleep for one night.

Our room was canceled through Booking.com just one day before the festival, even though we'd booked months earlier. By then we couldn't find anywhere else, so we can't go to the event and have lost the money we spent on the tickets. Thanks for ruining our weekend.
