Michael was a great host, and the place was spotless in the middle of a peaceful town. They even did our laundry every day. We had a two-bedroom apartment for 100€, which felt like a great deal. Definitely recommend it.

The owners were friendly and quick to answer questions, and the apartment itself was very clean and pleasant. We were on the pedestrian street side, so daytime noise was noticeable, though nights were pretty quiet. Our one letdown was the laundry: a washer and dryer were advertised, but the laundry room was locked and we weren't given a key. Maybe the caretaker and owners had a mix-up, since the owners were away during our stay. Solingen's residents were welcoming, we enjoyed the visit, and I'd stay here again.

This works really well for us assembly workers. The apartments are kept in excellent shape, and you can tell they put a lot of effort into it. Service still matters here. We like staying here and would happily come back.
