The property manager was easy to reach and gave helpful answers and suggestions. We were also comfortable throughout our mountain getaway, with easy parking for both cars and an outside key box that made sharing the key simple as we came and went. Inside, the beds were comfortable, there were open wardrobes and plenty of hooks, and the kitchen had good equipment and a fresh-ground coffee maker. Two toilets and a huge couch were great additions. We didn't need it ourselves, but the place also seemed well suited to little kids. It was a lovely 20-minute walk to the pedestrian zone, with plenty of nearby grocery shops and ski rentals. The slopes are easy to reach nearby, as are the ones down in Oberstdorf.

The mountain views are gorgeous, and there are five ski resorts close by as well as plenty of hiking trails. We stayed with family and would absolutely come again. The beds were comfortable, and the home felt spacious while still being cozy, with beautiful decor. We don't speak German, so it was a relief that all the instructions were in perfect English. The kitchen was a pleasure to use, with plenty of pans and pots and very nice appliances. When we wanted a break from cooking, restaurants and shops were only minutes away.

We stayed with family in August and loved the house. It has room for a large family, a couple of big, pleasant decks, and an amazing valley view from the rooftop. The hosts were friendly and kept in touch in both English and German. The recent updates include nice new appliances and lovely decor. We had good Wi-Fi, a complete kitchen, washer and dryer, gas grill, and off-street parking. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a place in Allgäu.

We went with friends and their two young kids, and the house worked perfectly for all four adults and four children. It's well stocked for families, with great views and a lovely house, and we had an amazing time skiing there. Stefanie was a great, responsive host. We'd love to see what it's like in summer too.

We had a lovely short break in Sonthofen at Berg Fux. The apartments are newly built and comfortable, and the host family was really friendly.
