The owner is super friendly, and the food was delicious. We went once on foot and the second time by bike. If you can, I'd recommend biking there from behind the Grünten, where the paved road is mostly flat and runs through nature.

The cabin was spotless and well equipped, and the setting is ideal for a weekend in nature, but the owner's manner put us off returning. When we asked about the utility bill, we got remarks like, "Have a man explain it to you again." The long explanations about cleaning the cabin were fine, but questions about the bill were met impatiently and the tone soon turned unfriendly. We had paid the self-catering fee, yet bringing our own drinks wasn't allowed, so we had to buy them from the cabin bar. We had hoped to come back next year, but don't want to be spoken to so condescendingly as guests again.
Our group of four families had a great weekend at Hans-Peter's Drei Angelhütte (Three Anglers' Cabin). The cabin had everything we needed, from a fully equipped kitchen and charming bedrooms to a particularly good choice of drinks. The games were fun too. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the sauna, and the barbecue area and outdoor space were in excellent condition. Having our luggage brought by snowmobile worked flawlessly and helped a lot. We'd gladly return and highly recommend it. 😊
We were 11 people, all self-catering, and everyone felt at home during our family weekend. The cabin is tucked away in peaceful nature, with a stream and a pond full of frogs right beside it. It's wonderfully cozy, and the bedrooms are spacious and lovely. The living room was a favorite, especially its big wood-burning stove. We were completely happy with our stay.
The cabin and its setting are lovely, and the owner is very friendly. Just make sure you read the FAQs. We booked the whole place for four nights at the self-catering rate, but were surprised to be charged corkage for each drink we brought. I'd only come across that in restaurants, not in a house with a kitchen and dining room. I hadn't expected those prices in the FAQs, and this could have been clearer before booking. I also don't understand why overnight guests get only one parking space when there's plenty of room.
