The hotel is family-run, with a special atmosphere and a really good breakfast with lots of variety. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the cozy, lovingly furnished rooms and sauna area make for a peaceful little retreat. It’s also a great base for hikes and bike rides. We’ll definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The bright, spacious room had mountain views and made our stay unforgettable. The quiet location is excellent, halfway between the Oberstdorf and Oberjoch ski areas. Booking was easy, and Lio, the digital concierge, answered many of my questions about the area and my interests ahead of time. The digital room key took a little getting used to, but soon felt very convenient. Reserving the sauna and ordering minibar drinks digitally worked the same way. Breakfast had plenty of variety, including local specialties. We’re already looking forward to our summer vacation.

The digitized setup made booking, arriving, and using the MAXI BAR really easy. It took me a little while to get used to it, but I soon saw the benefits. The new breakfast concept feels very welcoming too. And the setting is gorgeous, just right for a holiday or a workation. The internet was excellent, with several places to work outside the room. Our room was spacious and lovely, with a fantastic mountain view. I forgot to take photos, unfortunately. We’ll definitely be back soon.

It worked perfectly well for us, and we’d come back. The place mixes modern touches with traditional ones in a clever way and still feels comfortable. The concept is good, though the online electronic assistance could use more development.
