The view was wonderful, and the price felt excellent for what we got. We stayed seven nights in February and were warmly greeted by the owner. The rooms were nicely furnished and very clean, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome right away. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. There's a fitness room, a small indoor pool, a hairdresser, and a physiotherapist on site. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. We'd love to return.

Our tour group spent three days here in December and had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us warmly, and the rooms are practically new, modern, and should have a fantastic panoramic view. We had fog for all three days, though, so we'll have to come back to see it! The staff were very friendly, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. We tried the small indoor pool with our children and other guests and thought it was excellent. There was also a games room, billiards, and table tennis, plus a Swiss pine relaxation room that we didn't have time to try. Hotel Grobauer is easy to recommend if you're looking for peace and relaxation in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. The only complaint from our full bus was that the stay was too short. All the best to the team, and greetings from Dresden! Doreen Päßler Eberhardt TRAVEL
