Parking is right next to the building, and there's a bicycle shelter as well. Check-out is directly opposite, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The apartment is very nice, almost right by the dike, bright, and pleasantly furnished. It has everything you need and is perfectly adequate for two.
We were absolutely thrilled with the tasteful decor, and the setup and rental process were perfect. The location just behind the dike is unbeatable. It made a fantastic winter alternative to our favorite campsite, and the value for money was excellent.
The apartment is lovely and well located, but the service left a lot to be desired. Staff were often unfriendly, as other campers confirmed. Emails got answered before booking, then it seemed customers didn't matter once the booking was made. The Wi-Fi wasn't working when we arrived and still hadn't been fixed a week later. The receptionist refused my request for a small compensation, and my messages to the manager went unanswered. It's a shame the service is so poor.
The kitchen is fully equipped, and the apartment is beautifully furnished. Despite being right next to the campsite and the dike with a beach crossing, it's very quiet. Its position just behind the dike makes it easy to walk to the water, and the beach is very spacious.
The apartment was renovated beautifully, but the mattresses seem to have been overlooked 🙈. Dear Ms. Hilbert, please take care of them. The Wi-Fi could be better too, though you can manage without it on holiday. Once the mattresses are new, we'll be back.
