The food really stood out, and they were happy to cater for different allergies and intolerances. During the day, you can help yourself to drinks and snacks on an honor system, which felt refreshingly relaxed. I came for a yoga retreat and loved the hotel: stylish but still cosy, with a charming feel and all those black-and-white photos. You can also rent bikes to explore the island. I’d gladly return for another stay and some yoga classes.

We haven’t stayed at Kubatzki yet, but as vegans we’d planned to make it our yearly holiday spot. On the way there, Deutsche Bahn cancelled the only remaining train line into St. Peter-Ording during a sudden nationwide strike, so we had no alternative way to travel and had to cancel the whole trip. The team understood and kindly waived the cancellation fee given the circumstances. That says a lot about how caring they are, and makes me sure their hospitality is just as good.

Such a lovely place to clear your head and find some peace and space. The staff are really friendly and helpful, too. Breakfast was great, and dinner was yummy. Thanks so much!

The breakfast was amazing, and the garden was lovely. It’s in a good location, and the rooms, restaurant and lobby are all arranged in a cosy, comfortable way.
