We hadn’t planned to stay in SPO, but after a sunny Sunday drive from Flensburg in October, we stopped at the adjoining Asia Mei Restaurant. The meal was excellent, with a lovely view over the promenade, and we decided on the spot to spend the night. At the hotel, Ms. S. welcomed us warmly and handled everything competently. We got a large room with a balcony facing the sea and promenade, just what we wanted. The room and bathroom were spotless, and there were chairs on the balcony. Our two Labradors were welcome too. The breakfast cost just under €17 and had scrambled eggs with bacon, sausages, cheese, salmon, muesli, fruit, several salads, juices, and a good range of breads and rolls. We had no complaints, and the value was top-notch. For the location, cleanliness, service, and peaceful atmosphere, we’d even give it six stars. We’d happily return.

We spent six nights here with our dog and found the location fantastic. The room was simple but had everything we needed, including a safe and a little fridge. The hotel is clean and well cared for, though it doesn’t feel brand new, and the location makes the price fair. We were greeted very warmly, and even though we got there in the morning, we could check into our room. The gentleman at reception was especially kind and friendly. There’s parking at the hotel for loading and unloading, and you can rent a garage space about five minutes away on foot, which worked well for us.

The location is fantastic, and parking is right in front of the house. We had a lovely room with a big terrace and found everyone very friendly and accommodating. We brought two Newfoundlands, which was no problem at all, and could use a side entrance.

We could take our dog along everywhere, which made the trip easy. The room was very small but enough for the two of us. Breakfast ran from 8-11 and had a decent selection; it wasn’t very busy while we were there. Vegetarians can get in touch with the hotel beforehand to talk through their dietary needs. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, well placed for going to the sea or doing some shopping.

We had a lovely, quiet night in a comfortable bed, and the room was spotless, with a terrace looking out to sea. The welcome was so warm, and the hotel is right by the beach. Breakfast was excellent, with a good quality buffet and plenty of variety. Already looking forward to being back next weekend.
