Urban Nature St. Peter-Ording

We had such a great time with everyone, even with a few other groups around in the hotel and restaurant. The service was beyond what we expected, and every staff member took such good care of us and our guests. The food was another highlight, served with flair, and the whole day was a lot of fun, just how we like it. Our wedding felt like a dream. From the moment we arrived, the surroundings and warm welcome set the tone, and every detail was handled so smoothly. The hotel is a work of art, with sophistication and charm throughout, and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere that suited the celebration perfectly. We also love coming in winter, especially for the spa zone. Our only regret is not making the wedding bigger or longer. Every moment was unforgettable. The sauna area is great, and the gym is a lovely, welcoming place to work out. There’s plenty of room to stretch, mats, lots of Peloton bikes, and some free weights up to 20 kg. The rooms are nice, but very small and poorly ventilated. Even with a fan, we were still super hot. I’d give the hotel five stars if the rooms were a bit bigger and better ventilated.

The sauna is large and modern, the location is good, and breakfast is good too. The hotel feels modern and nice, and the staff are ok. But at EUR 300 a night, cleaning the room only every other day and having just hand soap in the bathroom, with no air conditioning, feels a bit steep. Still, they get away with it.

We stayed for two nights with our dog, and the staff were so friendly and impeccable at what they do. The receptionist told me the idea is, “you come as a guest and leave as a friend.” Wow, I love that. We’re looking forward to visiting Urban Nature again. The food was outstanding. You can tell the chef has experience and enjoys trying exciting cuisine combinations. The flavours were great, and he’s one of the few who really seasons dishes well. The fried mussels, prawns, and lamb were standouts. Breakfast was just right too. It’s a vibrant, funky hotel just off the coastline of St. Peters, as the locals call the area. It’s different from the other places nearby and attracts a younger crowd. A great fit for artists and professionals with a taste for art and modern culture.
