The accommodation was high quality and had all the comforts, though it did come at a price. It was something special, but I can only give it four stars because the TV is a prerequisite for booking. There was no reception on the first evening. The next afternoon, we spent almost two hours of our precious time trying to get the TV working with an employee of the landlord. Eventually it did work, but after we returned that evening and switched it on, it ran for only about 15-20 minutes before shutting off, then reset itself for a few minutes. Great if all you want is the news or an exciting movie. Monday and Tuesday were our only free days for activities, so we let the TV do whatever it wanted. It’s a shame nobody there really seems to know what they’re doing.

It was cozy in the carriage thanks to the underfloor heating, though the weather wasn’t good enough for us to use the small terrace. We were traveling as a couple, and everything we needed was there. The converted railway carriage is a special holiday apartment, much roomier than you’d expect and furnished to a very high standard with lovely attention to detail. The chic, comfortable bathroom is attached to the side. We’d love to come back.

We felt very comfortable and are truly grateful to our host ☺️ The train compartment is modern, cozy, and stylishly furnished, with a view of the former engine shed. This is an exceptional place to stay, and we can highly recommend it to couples for any occasion.

It’s a unique, fantastic place to stay, well kept, clean, and cozy. You’ll find what you need, from a hairdryer, small coffee maker, and kettle to an egg cooker. There are no egg cups, though, which is a bit of a shame. If you want somewhere special, this is the place.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Spending the night in a railway carriage is something special, and the place is unique, quaint, cozy, sophisticated, luxurious, and very comfortable.
