Reiterhof Lausen

Stangheck is a little out of the way, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. The apartments are roomy and beautifully furnished. Our children love the Lausen riding stables. This is our fourth visit, and we’ll certainly be back.

The holiday apartments are lovely and have everything you need. Our family enjoys taking riding lessons with Michaela and her friendly team at the Lausen riding stable, where we’ve been regulars for several years. The horses live in herds in paddocks and are kept in a way that suits them, so they’re very relaxed. Even if you don’t ride, there are interesting places to see in the area.

We could barely persuade our 11-year-old daughter to leave the farm, even with the Baltic Sea calling us for a swim each day in the roughly 30°C heat. It was our second visit, and we’re already planning another. Everyone at the farm is so welcoming that you feel part of things almost at once. The horses and riding instructors are fantastic, with a suitable horse or pony for every rider, and they pay attention to each person’s needs. The holiday apartments are spotless and beautifully furnished. There are lots of lovely beaches nearby, easy to reach by bike. Even people who don’t ride enjoy coming back. Everything feels just right for a relaxing stay.
