The rooms are a good size and look out over the forest. The people were helpful and friendly, and breakfast was tip top, with baked goods from their own bakery. Lovely folk and fantastic classic Bavarian food :0)

If you’re after affordable accommodation and aren’t expecting luxury, you won’t be disappointed. The large rooms were clean and nicely heated in winter, and the hosts were very friendly. The hotel and its facilities are a bit dated, but well run. Breakfast was great and served at the hotel’s bakery, just a short walk away. Excellent value for money!

The hosts were very welcoming, and that’s the only reason I’m giving three stars. I didn’t feel comfortable here. The room was clean but very dated, and the window was ajar when I arrived. I couldn’t shut it because the lever was jammed. The bed linens looked clean, but smelled a bit musty, almost like they’d been washed and put away in a closet while still damp. I can’t comment on breakfast since I didn’t have any. It’s served at a bakery down the street. Without the welcoming hosts, this probably would have been two stars.
