On the top floor, you get a nice look over the rooftops of Stendal, and there’s plenty of parking, including some covered spaces. I stayed here on and off for several months in 2019. The staff were friendly. It’s a good hotel, though dinner depended on the menu: some days it was good, while on others eating out might be the better choice.

Breakfast was very good, with enough variety even if it wasn’t huge. The staff are kind, and the hotel is well maintained. I’ve tried the single room, double room, and junior suite, and the gap is HUGE. The single room feels like a really cheap student room, while the other options are okay.

Our train broke down and, since it was already late, we couldn’t get home to the Netherlands. We found a room at the very last minute for all four of us. It was large and luxurious, and breakfast was perfect. The employees were really kind and the service was great. We had to head home the next day, but I wouldn’t have minded staying a few more days to see the city. I’d recommend it for a longer stay, too.

The beds were fine, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the people were friendly. Dinner at the restaurant, unfortunately, wasn’t very good.

I had a really good time there, and the service was great too.
