The blue apartment is wonderfully roomy, and the garden and surrounding village and countryside are beautiful. It’s a relaxing place to spend a few days. Stendal’s center is about 10 minutes away, and Tangermunde is also close, though you’ll need a car. We’ll definitely return!

I spent my childhood here, from 1954 to 1963, so it was lovely to return to such a peaceful place surrounded by nature. The hosts are warm and welcoming. We had two wonderful days, including a concert in the barn by Rüdiger Krause. I highly recommend a holiday here. Warm greetings from Austria.

There are lots of inviting little places to sit and relax, and a kind of minibar in the breakfast room with an honesty box. The guesthouse itself is lovely, with a carefully tended garden and courtyard in a green setting. Our room was charming and well kept. The hosts were very friendly and took plenty of time for us.

A fantastic breakfast, with everything included and brought right to the room. The atmosphere is unusual in the best way, a nice break from the everyday hotel routine. For me it feels more suited to summer, since the room was very cold in the morning, 15°C. I was told beforehand that the new fiber optic network was unstable, and the Wi-Fi still wasn’t usable for work.
