Landhotel Rössle

The view is beautiful, and the place is peaceful. I came here for a workshop with my colleagues. The catering was amazing, and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

The waiters didn’t respond properly when I needed help, and I didn’t expect that. There was a wedding party during my stay, and because of the high demand from the party, the other customers weren’t looked after properly. I didn’t understand why. If they want to run only wedding parties, they’d be better off not allowing other customers. When they let thousands of customers stay, they should treat everyone the same way.

The staff were friendly, but this was overpriced. We stayed in the 'modern' part of the hotel, which felt more like a youth hostel than a hotel. The walls were stained and cracked, with basically everything screwed onto them. The balcony was shared with all the other rooms on that half of the building. There were no toiletries, and the insulation was poor.

The seminar rooms were good, and so were the facilities in the rooms. From the initial enquiry and booking through check-in and checkout, everything went smoothly. The hospitality and service were really at their best. Large companies like ours could definitely learn from this. Thanks again for creating a wonderful experience.
