Hotel Annablick

Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful. Great hotel in Strausberg, with full services included.

The rooms are okay... breakfast was great.

I slept really well in my quiet room, which had a roller shutter for complete darkness, and the heating was already comfortable despite the sub-zero weather outside. It wasn’t a big room, but it worked well, with a desk, lots of power outlets, a comfortable bed and stable Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast choice was very good for a hotel this size. The bright breakfast room was nice too. I’d booked through my employer’s travel management for a nearby appointment. After looking at the hotel on Google Street View, I honestly wasn’t expecting much, so I was pleasantly surprised. Check-in with the key box went smoothly, and the first phone call was excellent. With a hotel of this size, having someone at reception all the time would have been excessive. I’d highly recommend staying here. The price-performance ratio in the booking documents was excellent. Some big chains, even four-star and above, could learn from how well this room was heated. I often find myself in freezing rooms at those places, even with their energy-efficient design.

Strausberg has better-value places that offer more comfort for less. Here, the room was quite small and the ceilings too low, and the €7 parking surcharge for a space on the main road seems unjustified. That should be part of the already high room price.
