The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely view, with a queen-size bed. It was a quiet location and good value for money. We had a delicious dinner on the terrace. Breakfast was extensive, with everything brought to the table because of the current situation. We were given a very warm welcome, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The homemade cake was delicious with coffee, though the restaurant and garden have plenty of room to improve. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but seemed overworked. The rooms were clean, unlike the outside, which could do with a thorough cleaning. It has a quiet, 90s charm in a 3-star setting, with very limited internet and mobile reception. Best regards from two short-stay vacationers.

We were unlucky with the weather, but plan to come back next year. The hotel was clean, and we’ll remember it fondly thanks to its two lovely hotel ladies. It had all the TV channels, and the staff were very, very nice. The location is idyllic, a short walk from the bear sanctuary and the lake, though cell phone reception was spotty. Dinner is available by arrangement, and breakfast was okay. The mattress was very soft.

We slept better here than we had in a hotel for a long time. It’s incredibly secluded and absolutely quiet, at the southern end of Lake Plau, about 200 meters from the lake. We stayed for a week in July 2020. Our first-floor room was very nice and large, but unfortunately had no balcony. Everything was very clean, breakfast was a good, generous buffet, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
