Gästehaus Windheim Stutensee / Büchig

A few bigger glasses would’ve been useful, but the apartment had a fridge and a little kitchenette. It was clean and comfortable to sleep in, and arranging things was very straightforward. I was there for work, and it was good value, just right for my visit.

We needed somewhere near Stutensee at short notice and found this place through the reviews. The apartment wasn’t bad, but we hadn’t been told it had a single bed and a sofa bed, and there was no parking on site because the area was a turning circle. Check-in happened over the phone, and paying for the room felt rather unusual. We’d previously stayed with a hotel chain that cost less for what we got, even though the drive was longer. With more research, we might not have been so disappointed. Oh well.

The steep stairs make this a poor choice for people with disabilities, and it’s also offered as a shared apartment. There’s no parking right in front of the building. It was clean, but the price didn’t feel right for what you get.

The guest apartment is modern and well equipped, and the service was excellent. Really lovely accommodation. I’d gladly stay again.
