Hotel Astoria am Urachplatz

The rooms are big and the hotel was very quiet. It was a nice enough stay, with a great location, though the rooms are old. I found some hair in the bathroom and one towel was stained. Still, it was okay as a normal place to stay.

The room was really clean, and they separated the beds for my friend and me, which we appreciated. The main drawback was the internet connection, which I guess may have been due to where our room was in the hotel. The location was really good too. It's very close to the S-bahn, about 15 minutes to Hauptbahnof, and the Mercedes-Benz Museum is nearby.

Avoid this hotel. I booked for two people and asked for separate beds, but ended up with one double bed. The building shown wasn't where I stayed, either. There was no sound insulation, despite what was claimed. I regret staying here. Please take the necessary steps and remove this hotel from the booking page. Thank you.

The area is fairly quiet and close to the center, but that doesn't make up for the state of this place. Things are broken, trashed, or simply don't work, including the fridge, lights, and windows. It's dirty too. Someone spilled coffee in the staircase, and it stayed there all week. It may still be there. Most of the reception staff were unbearable and extremely unfriendly. The exception was the young bearded guy, saleh. I feel sorry to see his talent wasted in such a disgusting, rundown hotel. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere, even if it costs a little more. This place isn't worth it, not even for free. Never again.
