The owner was wonderful, and we absolutely adored the people here. Our room and the restroom were clean and quiet. Thanks so much for the lovely hospitality. If we make it back to Stuttgart, we know where we'll stay.

We haven't managed to stay there yet, but during lockdown we've been ordering takeaway at least once a week. Jutta and Jürgen have been so welcoming that they made us feel like part of the community. Once things reopen, their restaurant will be our first stop.

The hotel bar was nice, but the room and the service around the charge were awful. It was so cold I could see my breath, there were no sheets on the bed, no heat, and no hot water. They also billed me for an extra night I hadn't stayed, and never replied when I emailed to dispute it. There’s no elevator, and the stairs to the second floor were pitch black. The lights didn't come on with movement, so I had to feel around in the dark for the switch. Worst hotel ever.

We were the only two guests, and the hosts still put out an impressive breakfast spread. They were super nice. The Biergarten is gone now, but at least they have parking!

Handy for a few nights in Stuttgart. Just be aware that the private bathroom is across the hallway from your room.
