Maritim Hotel Stuttgart

Underground parking was very convenient, and it was easy to get around from this good location. The shower was excellent, and the room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The hotel felt calm and comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff were kind, professional, and helpful. I’d definitely choose it again after such a great stay.

For €200 a night, this place is ridiculous. I wouldn’t recommend it even at €80. It feels depressing, like an old 80ies movie, and the air conditioning smells bad. The hotel’s glory days seem to have been 20-30 years ago. There’s been no noticeable investment for decades, and the service is poor or practically nonexistent.

The hotel looks great, and the staff are very nice, but the room didn’t deliver where it mattered. I could hear and feel music from three floors below until well past midnight, since there was practically no sound-blocking. The AC was extremely loud even on the lowest setting and seemed not to work. I couldn’t feel any improvement in the air, so I turned it on to cover up the noise problem and get a few hours of sleep. The room hadn’t been cleaned properly. There were hairs left by the previous guest in the bathroom, dark spots scattered on the bed, and marks on the dinner plates that needed scraping, with some that wouldn’t come off at all. The TV was limited too. It had no Prime Video or Netflix apps, its Bluetooth option was audio only, and there was no HDMI cable. The place looks great, but the room itself fell short on the most important part of a hotel stay.

The breakfast had excellent quality and lots of variety, and free underground parking was a big plus. We stayed in a proper, spacious suite for four people, and it was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding, always friendly, professional, and helpful. An excellent place to stay in Stuttgart. We’d highly recommend it and would definitely come back.
