I couldn't sleep comfortably because the room stayed unbearably hot. The air conditioning barely lowered the temperature, maybe by about 3 degrees from the setting, and I was sweating. Around 12:15 AM, after trying for ages, I went down to reception because the room phone didn't work. The central helpline had sent me to the wrong hotel, which made the whole thing even more frustrating. The receptionist said the hotel was in “winter mode” and nothing could be done, then suggested opening the window. That looks out over a U-Bahn station, with train and announcement noise, so it wasn't a workable way to get some rest. My complaint isn't about the employee personally, who may just be following policy. It's about management charging full price without providing basic sleeping comfort or useful support, then treating the problem casually. A comfortable place to sleep is the basic job of a hotel. I wouldn't recommend staying unless management deals with the temperature controls and guest support.

The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly, though they seemed stretched across reception, the bar, and other duties. My room was very hot, the air conditioning didn't work, and I had to open the window onto a busy road.

The room itself was very nice and the location was great, but the final price wasn't justified. My flight was delayed, so I arrived late, the morning after check-in had opened. Under the booking terms, the front desk clerk charged me a different rate that nearly doubled the cost. It was too late to cancel, so I paid and stayed, but the extra charge felt punitive and unfair. Be careful with special rates and read the fine print. Shame on you, Premier Inn.

The hotel is beside a shopping center with restaurants, shops, and nice cafes nearby. The main railway station is about 10-15 minutes away. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The one bad moment was a loud alarm on our last night, which sent me running outside at midnight.

The bed and room were lovely, and breakfast was good. But the cleaning staff spoiled the stay. I think one worker was named Wasseem. He kept knocking because he wanted to clean, then kept opening the door. I won't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.
