The single room on the fifth floor was enough for me, and the staff were so pleasant and kind. I thought breakfast was average, just okay. Since 2020, smoking hasn’t been allowed anywhere in the hotel, which I see as a plus. It no longer seems to smell of cigarettes. There’s also a very good wellness area, with the sauna included in the price.

The rooms were comfortable and renovated, and breakfast had a good range of choices. I also enjoyed the restaurant, and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is beside a U-Bahn station, so it’s well connected. In some areas, like the VIP lounge and corridors, you can still smell that people used to smoke there, but I didn’t find it a big issue. I’d recommend the place.

So far, this is the best hotel I’ve used in Germany, though I can’t judge the value since my company pays. My room was already like a sauna, so free sauna access wasn’t much use to me. Breakfast came with a strange coffee routine: every morning, staff insisted on filling my mug halfway before I could use the coffee pot. I’d rather guests were simply allowed to help themselves.

The bathroom especially feels dated, and the hotel is a bit old, though everything was very clean. Service was excellent and available around the clock. There was no complimentary water in the room, only the expensive minibar.
