We've stayed here twice now. It's a beautifully kept old thatched-roof building, with free parking at the hotel. Breakfast à la carte is included each morning, and they serve a three-course dinner every night. The food is HIGHLY recommended, and there's a good wine selection too. It's a perfect spot for couples. The village is only 3 Km from the beach, easy to reach by bike if you want, though we prefer to drive. We'll definitely be back.

The food is outstanding, and there's a lovely, well-kept sauna area. Guests reserve a time slot and have the sauna to themselves during it. This is a wonderfully run, family-owned hotel with a great atmosphere and excellent service for no more than 22 guests, so it stays a manageable size. If you're after peace and quiet in a beautifully maintained and renovated listed building, this is the place. We can only agree with the other reviewers. A definite recommendation!

Without a car, I'd take a star off for the location, but who comes without one anyway? The Viohl family deserve extra stars for their service. I haven't felt this comfortable in a place for ages, and dinner was excellent. Just as promised, I had the sauna to myself. Pure relaxation. Thank you so much to the Viohl family!! ❤️

The hosts were very friendly, and dinner was delicious. We had such a lovely evening at the Old Rectory, with excellent value for money. Thanks for a wonderful night. We'd love to come back!
