There’s so much to learn about clay here, and it’s a wonderful wellness place for both young and old. Ms. Otto is clearly passionate about what she does and has lots to share. Definitely worth a visit ❤️👍😘

The freshly baked cake was heavenly, and we had a lovely chat after being welcomed so warmly. We didn’t manage to guess all the Thuringian castles on the wall, so we had to pay up 😉. The price was right, and we’d love to return.

We stopped by after a hike hoping to get coffee and sit in the garden with our two small children. The terrace and play area were advertised, but the owner (?) refused to let us sit outside. He said heat from the café entrance would escape every time the door opened. It was clear he didn’t want to serve us out there. When we asked whether he wanted paying customers, he said “no” and told us he was wasting his valuable time talking to us. We left straight away and found another café. We’ve never had an experience that unfriendly before. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give.

A great option for large families. The holiday apartments are roomy, with lots of space for children, swings in the room, and games and books provided.
