The owners were really nice and accommodating, and the place was generally clean. There were a few cobwebs, but that's hard to avoid out in the countryside. We stayed as a family of five in the small holiday home. It has a stove and dishwasher, but no washing machine. The furnishings feel dated and a bit makeshift, and the mattresses have clearly been used by plenty of guests. There are two bedrooms at the back, with the parents' sleeping rooms separate, plus a child's bunk bed in another room, one in the connecting room, and another in the parents' bedroom. It's an okay place, but I've stayed in farm holiday homes for the same price that were much better, so three stars from me.

The area is beautiful, though the house is quite remote, south of Bremen. It works well for families as long as everyone gets along. The house itself is a little dated, and the room and bathroom layout isn't ideal.
