The owner-manager was wonderful and chatted with us over breakfast, which made Grandma and me feel at home. I’d stay again without hesitation. My room was clean and nice, with a twin bed that suited me perfectly as a solo traveler. There are larger room options too. Breakfast had plenty to choose from.

I was here for business and couldn’t have been happier with my stay. Hotel-Restaurant Löwen is a strong choice if you’re in the Süßen area. The building has an authentic German restaurant, and the food looked, smelled, and tasted delicious. The hospitality felt world-class. Whenever I ran into staff, they seemed eager to make me comfortable. My room appeared completely remodeled, almost brand new, and the climate control, bedding, lighting, and bathroom were all perfect. It isn’t a luxury hotel, but I was never unhappy with the cleanliness or the care given to my room and the property. It’s a charming hotel in a charming rural German town.

The dining room is cozy and nicely decorated, with an unpretentious, family feel. Eating here was a good experience. Breakfast was especially great, with different foods to choose from, and the ladies were helpful and kept replenishing everything.
