Terrible experience. I was planning a staycation there, but when Peter Schmidt realized I didn't speak German well, he said he didn't own the place and hung up on me. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the prices felt fair. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has room for up to six people. The Thuringian Forest is right nearby, while the town center takes about 10-15 minutes by bus. The stop is roughly 300 meters away.
