Pension Himmelreich

It’s a quirky place but really cozy. Getting there takes some driving skill :)

The rooms are pretty average, though clean, and the building is older but very well looked after. It doesn’t make much of an impression from outside, but the interior is much more appealing, with tastefully and interestingly styled shared spaces. The hotel’s in a beautiful spot with fantastic views, and there’s a sauna that was available while I was there. The parking area is small, so getting a larger car into a space can be tricky, probably because of where the hotel is. The lady, presumably the owner, was so friendly and helpful, and made the whole place feel warm and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Staying there felt like visiting good friends, and I’ll gladly return when I’m in the area.

Clean, quiet rooms with a lot of charm. We’d happily stay again. It’s a fantastic guesthouse, far better than the big chains.

We met friends there for a few relaxed hours. The place felt idyllic, and the owner was really friendly. Everything was very clean, and there was a generous spread on the breakfast table. Thank you!
