We chose a smaller apartment beneath the thatched roof, and it suited us well. The kitchenette had everything we needed, the renovated shower room was lovely, and the place was very clean. We left the car in the Linderhof parking lot and got around by bike. Even after riding into a strong headwind, we could warm up in the well-ventilated garden sauna. It was so peaceful that we could sleep in undisturbed, while the city center, Friedrichstrasse, and the long sandy beach were only a short walk away. That made Linderhof a great fit for our relaxing short break. We’ll definitely come back!

The garden sauna was my favorite part. You operate it yourself, but it’s easy to get the hang of, and there are lots of towels and bathrobes. After a long walk on the beach, showering outdoors under the apple tree and then crossing the lawn barefoot, even with a few patches of snow, was pure relaxation. We booked at short notice and worried we’d be too far from things, but on our bikes the beach took five minutes and the pedestrian area ten. The apartment was cozy, the shower room looked brand new, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Our bedroom looked onto the peaceful garden, and we slept wonderfully. The bakery across the street was a lifesaver for breakfast. We loved the quiet while still being close to lively Westerland. We’ll be back!

We’ve stayed at Linderhof twice now, and the personal feel of this privately run place is clear. It’s cared for with real passion, and we’re already thinking about another visit. Apartment 6 was cozy and tastefully furnished, with everything we needed. The one-room setup, with a bedroom and living area, worked perfectly for us. I slept really well on the box-spring beds, and I didn’t miss anything in the functional kitchen. The newly renovated bathroom had natural light, which I always appreciate. The garden has lots of beach chairs for relaxing, and the wellness options are extensive. We ran out of time to try a massage, so I’m planning to book one next time. The location also worked well: an easy walk to central Westerland, quicker by bike, yet far enough from the noise and crowds, especially during peak season.

The apartment had plenty of room for the two of us, and the sun terrace was just right. Everything we needed for a few restful days was there, including a sauna for colder weather. The city center and beach are only a few minutes away, with a grocery store nearby too. The whole complex was very well maintained.
