The owners did everything they could to make us comfortable, and they were so kind and attentive. We had a wonderful holiday on Sylt at the Friedeburg guesthouse. Thanks for such a great stay. I’ll definitely return.

We’ve rarely had a room so thoughtfully equipped, and the little details in the furnishings really show how much care the hosts put in. The whole stay at Gästehaus Friedeburg was wonderfully relaxing, with everything arranged and taken care of. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We’ll be back for sure, and happily recommend it! 😊☀️

The quiet setting and beautiful surroundings made it easy to unwind, whether out hiking, swimming, or just daydreaming. Rantum’s thatched-roof village is enchanting, and the host family made us feel welcome with their warmth and attentiveness. They were always up for a philosophical chat, too. We came home feeling refreshed, though a little wistful.

Everything you need for a quiet break is close by: the supermarket, bike rental, restaurants, cafés, and the sea and mudflats that make Rantum so special are just a few steps away. Coffee, tea, and biscuits are provided, and you can pre-order fresh rolls. The Meanss couple are lovely, funny hosts with great stories about the island and the wider world. We had such a nice time, thank you 😊 Highly recommended!

The hosts were warm, helpful, and well-organized, and always tried to make guests’ wishes happen. I felt right at home in the charmingly furnished “Lieselotte” single room during my summer holiday. It had everything I needed, and the newly renovated kitchenette was a real delight. I’d happily return every year and recommend the place wholeheartedly.
