Breakfast had the usual options plus homemade spreads, and the room was very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The main drawback was the poor soundproofing, with some noise coming from other guests. If that might bother you, earplugs would be useful.

We especially liked the location on our first visit to Hotel Gutenberg. The room was cozy and spotless, and the staff were very friendly with excellent service. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, attractively presented, with egg dishes made fresh. We’d love to come back.

The breakfast was delicious, and the little breakfast room felt really cozy. They even checked whether we needed anything else. Our bright, clean room was lovely, and we got such a warm welcome. There were nine of us on a weekend trip to Sylt, staying at the Hotel Gutenberg. We’ve already booked our next visit and will be back at the Hotel Gutenberg. Can’t wait!

The Hotel team made everything easy, and everyone was friendly and accommodating. A special mention for Ms. Bettina Oriold-Dertül. Breakfast was excellent, too. The hotel is right in the pedestrian zone, with everything close by and the train station an easy walk away. We’d gladly come back.
