The apartment is cozy and comfortable, with a North Sea view, and the station is about 800 m away. I’ve stayed in the building twice and was very satisfied both times. But the apartments vary a lot: only some have a sea view, and how nice the view is depends on the unit’s location. Prices also reflect the view. If you book, check the specific apartment carefully and look at the photos so you aren’t disappointed. There’s an EDEKA supermarket nearby. It isn’t cheap, but it’s nice and has a good selection. The beach and town center are wonderfully close, and for a weekend this place was perfectly fine. Our room was a bit cramped for a longer stay, though we only used it to sleep. The shower was the main hassle: getting in was difficult, probably almost impossible for older guests, and we had to tighten the shower head to get the water flowing properly. We skipped the linen package and made the beds ourselves, but the duvets had visible stains from previous guests. Not a nice sight.

The entrance made a great first impression, and the whole place was very clean. We booked an apartment through Airbnb in central Westerland. It was a good size for two, though I’m sure they have larger ones too. We’d happily stay again.

These small apartments have balconies and work well if you want to cater for yourself. They’re right by the beach in Westerland, clean and dry, with practical furnishings. Prices are reasonable for the mid-range. I’d recommend them.
