Hotel Clausen

We felt right at home here. The team was fantastic, friendly and attentive, and everything was spotlessly clean and convenient. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams, and they were happy to cater to individual requests. The hotel is right in the center of Westerland. Thanks to the whole team :)

There's no balcony or convenient place to dry swimwear, which is a downside for a city hotel. We had a room facing the back, so it probably wasn't too noisy, though seagulls can be heard at night. Breakfast was excellent, even with the pandemic, and the staff were really friendly and helpful, thank you! The hotel is centrally located in Westerland. You can drive up to the building only during delivery times; otherwise, the public parking lot is a bit of a walk away. Highly recommended.

The lack of an elevator is a drawback. Staff are very friendly, and the breakfast buffet is attractively set out with plenty of choice. Scrambled or boiled eggs and similar items are available on request. It's a good hotel in a very central spot in Westerland, so evenings or nights can get quite noisy. The promenade and train station are each about 500 meters away.

The value for money is very good, and the facilities are excellent. Staff are helpful and the service is exceptionally good, with even small extra requests handled without any problem. This hotel leaves nothing to be desired and is highly recommended.
