Even after staying in five-star places and design boutique hotels around the world, this is the best hotel room we've ever had. Our room was 21m, and everything about it felt perfect. Service was very good too. Breakfast was the weak spot for me: the bread quality was disappointing, the croissants weren't good, and the brewed coffee was surprisingly poor, given how proud Germans are of their coffee. I hope management changes the bakery supplying the bread and pastries, and that the breakfast options improve by our next visit.

Sylt was nearly fully booked in July, but a week before our short trip we found this place and were lucky to get a room for two. There's a nice little garden, the beach is close, and breakfast or brunch was really good and fresh.

The furniture is old, and while most of the staff were nice, one man was arrogant. They may call themselves dog-friendly, but dogs aren't allowed inside the restaurant.
