Meeresstern

The location is central, and at first the house looked spacious, with a little garden. But our rented garage was completely unusable because it was full, so we had to leave the car far away and haul everything back to the house. The furniture is quite old. It works for four people, though getting to the third bedroom means climbing a very steep staircase. That seems manageable only for young, fit people and is downright dangerous for anyone else 😳. The attic bathroom and the ground-floor toilet are both tiny. The service was the worst part. We had written confirmation that we could use the house early in the morning, but at 10 a.m. the previous tenant answered the door. The place was still occupied and had not been cleaned. After I called the landlord, someone did a superficial clean. Some spots were missed entirely, and we were left with cleaning supplies to put away ourselves. Every attempt to get a goodwill gesture was flatly rejected. We paid for three nights but could only stay two, since there were no trains back on the third day. Never again this house or this landlord. 😡
