The setting, atmosphere, and service were genuinely beautiful, and the staff were so warm. The room had charm and soul, with thoughtful decor. The dishes looked stunning and showed real care and technique. The first course was strong and got our hopes up. As the meal went on, though, the flavors started to seem repetitive and a little flat. Nothing was bad, but it felt like the food was missing a deeper quality, the same heart that came through in the room, the staff, and all the thought put into the evening. Dessert was a real highlight and a lovely finish. I also forgot to mention that the cocktails were amazing. The sommelier was so good, and the wine he helped us choose is on my list of bottles to find.

We stopped by the „Kamnibar“ for drinks before dinner. It was early, but the restaurant was filling up and the staff were busy greeting dinner guests, so we waited a little at the bar. Then Johannes King looked after us personally and proved to be a warm, welcoming host with a great spirit. He took excellent care of us, brought a complimentary refill later, and made us feel right at home. Can only recommend!

The restaurant at Söl'Ring Hof is amazing. Jan-Philipp Berner and Johannes King lead the kitchen, and they really know how to cook. Bärbel Ring helps choose the right drinks for the incredible menus, and the whole team takes responsibility for making guests feel welcome. We're always greeted personally at the entrance, and usually head straight to the "Bänkchen", a bench in the dunes with an incredible view. From there through dinner and right up to leaving, the service takes care of every wish. The menus are delicious, and I'd recommend the wine accompaniment too. It's a small restaurant, so you'll need a reservation. For me, it's one of the best restaurants in the world, and well worth trying if you're visiting Sylt.

Johannes and his team did a fantastic job, and Bärbel and her team absolutely wowed us. The cuisine was truly one of a kind, and the wines were out of this world.
