The spa was a real highlight, with a calming design that made it easy to slow down and relax. Hotel Strandvogtei also had a lovely feel throughout, warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived for Christmas. Mornings were a treat, with a generous fresh breakfast prepared with care. Later, the coffee and cake made for a comforting break in the day. The whole stay felt charming and thoughtfully hosted, with real soul and great value. I left feeling restored and grateful, and would be glad to return if I get the chance.

We only spent two nights here, but they were fantastic. Our suite was spotless and had clearly been prepared with care, and the spa was set up in a very relaxing way. Breakfast had loads of choice and something for every taste. The place itself is quiet and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and helpful. One of the best places I've stayed. Absolutely recommended!

Back for our second year in a row, and we're just as happy with it. The peaceful surroundings are lovely, as are the sauna and pool. Rooms are kept in beautiful condition, and everyone on staff is so friendly and attentive. Breakfast is excellent, and they put out delicious cake and coffee in the afternoon. Top-notch! 👍🏻

We stayed in January and were made to feel at home right away. It's a quiet spot, ideal if you want a break from the everyday rush. There are smaller rooms in the main building, plus larger apartments in the buildings around it. Breakfast is wonderful, with lots of fresh fruit, and tea is available until late afternoon. Dogs are welcome, and there are plenty of them around. We'll definitely be back.

The team are always attentive and greet you with a friendly smile. Breakfast is superb, and the spa is lovely too. The apartments in the thatched-roof houses and the surrounding area make the whole place fantastic. They must feel lucky to have all of this around them every day!
