The food and rooms were excellent, and the whole stay was a pleasure. Istvan, the head waiter, was especially kind and helpful. He handled every request so well.

The spa made this a weekend I’ll remember for a long time. Guido brought great energy, music, and scents to the sauna sessions every two hours. There are several saunas and places to relax, plus a lovely pool. The hotel sits in idyllic surroundings, especially under snow, and the spacious rooms fit the setting nicely. We also enjoyed the wide choice of tasty food at breakfast and dinner, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The hotel is handy for drivers, with Chiemsee, Salzburg, and even Königssee within a reasonable drive. Public transport is less convenient, and the room rates are on the high side. After the 11 am checkout, we could still use the pool and sauna until 10 pm for just 10€ per person. We’d definitely return for a longer stay. I loved sitting in the outdoor sauna area, looking across the green fields to the mountains. There are several sauna rooms and even a salt room, as well as two pools: an indoor one with pleasantly warm water and an outdoor natural pool decorated with tropical lotus. Our Zirben room was spacious, modern, and lovely. It came with a Nesespresso machine and bathroom accessories, and there were chocolates waiting in the mini fridge. The reception staff were very pleasant and offered a choice of welcome drinks, including sparkling wine, juice, or coffee. The hotel is beautifully set in nature and has a full range of facilities. Dinner in the garden dining area was excellent, with delicious food, complimentary starters, and very decent waiters. Breakfast was just as good, with Dinzler coffee, eggs prepared in different ways, cheeses, cold cuts, warm sausages, fresh watermelon, cherries, and more. I’m a Hilton honor gold member, and I have to say the service here was even better.

I had a great time relaxing here, and the dining was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. An E-Car charger would be a nice addition to the hotel.
