Grimms Hotel Berlin Potsdam

The location works really well for the Berlin wall trail, with great walks nearby and plenty of amenities. It’s close to Berlin but on the outskirts, which was especially nice with my dog. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a lively bar and breakfast, and every staff member was friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely stay again.

I was there for work and found the location very good. The staff were consistently friendly, and the service was good too. The Brothers Grimm theme, with fairy tales like Hans in Luck shown on the walls, floors, and some of the furniture, also makes the hotel feel very family-friendly to me.

The breakfast was really great, with lots of choice and a pleasant place to sit. The rooms are a bit small, especially if two people want to sit somewhere other than the bed, and the numbering is confusing since rooms 200 and up are on the first floor. You get a physical key instead of a key card, and it also has to be used to turn on the room’s electricity. Housekeeping could do better: during our three-day stay, the sink wasn’t cleaned even once, despite our request for room cleaning.

I always feel at ease at Grimm's because there’s nothing to worry about and everything is easy. The staff are very friendly, and the room is clean and straightforward as always. That little fairy-tale touch is a nice theme, too.
