The elevator made it easy to get our bags from the motorcycles up to the room, and we even had a cart to move them. We also got two free “Lederbier” when we arrived. Nothing to complain about, and I loved the terrace by the water. Very good hotel with an excellent restaurant.

We explored the grounds and walked the trails around the complex. The waterfall was amazing, and the old water wheel was great to see too. The hotel was clean, the staff helpful and accommodating, and breakfast was exceptional.

We've been back many times for lunch and dinner, both at the restaurant and out on the terrace, especially when friends and family come to visit. The food and service are excellent, and there's always something delicious to choose from. They do their best to accommodate special requests, too. Our guests have always been happy with the hotel and restaurant. I'd recommend it for traditional German cuisine.

The village setting is lovely, surrounded by forest, and the old building has kept its traditional, conservative interior. Service was quick and very friendly. The food is classic South German style, nicely presented, and there's plenty on the plate. The meat is very good, and there are lots of vegetable options.
