Gasthaus Forelle

The room was clean and spacious, with a garden view, so it was quieter than the street-facing rooms. The mattress was my one real problem, it was so soft that I kept sinking into it. The location gets four stars from me because of the noisy road and being a little outside the center. We ate deer and schnitzel. My meat was tender and juicy, while my husband's meal was good but not fantastic. The desserts were lovely, and the food overall was excellent. Breakfast was excellent too, and the woman there kept checking that everyone had enough. The service was warm-hearted, though a bit tough, and I didn't feel like a particularly special guest. This is a very popular place, so call ahead to reserve, especially for a seat outside in the beer garden. It's hard to review the restaurant and the overnight guesthouse stay together, but all in all we had a very good experience.

The trout with almonds was amazing. The staff were friendly and the prices seemed fair. Really good, and highly recommended.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, with the usual German-style selection. There is a restaurant too, but I didn't try it.

We all had a great stay at Forelle Gasthaus with our friends, family, and kids. The surrounding mountains are beautiful and full of attractions!
