My booking was canceled by text just three hours before I was due to arrive, while I was already on my way. I'd been looking forward to the stay, and although things can go wrong, the way this was handled really bothered me. I called ten times and got neither an answer nor a callback. At one point the line was busy, so someone was apparently reachable, just not for me. I would've appreciated some accountability and the courage to communicate. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled says a lot. A quick return call or an honest explanation would've been basic respect, and that was missing. I hope this experience gives you something to think about. To me, hospitality starts with not hiding when things get uncomfortable. Tim Pahlke

The price was low, though the balcony still had the last guest's ashtray on it. Could have been cleaner.

Breakfast was a real treat, especially the eggs cooked individually, and there was plenty for us. Everything was spotless, and the accommodation was perfectly adequate. The hosts made us feel welcome right away and were so friendly and attentive. We'd definitely come back!

We booked early in the year and even phoned to check that dogs were allowed. Everything sounded fine until two days before we were due to arrive, when they told us dogs weren't permitted and we'd have to pay a €69 cancellation fee. Now we have nowhere to stay, with everything else already booked and only two days to sort something out. Absolutely outrageous. I've never had anything like this happen.

The rooms were tidy, clean, and fine, but when a small issue came up, nobody could be reached.
