The fish plate was prepared really well, and make sure you leave room for dessert. The Biergarden has a lovely, quiet atmosphere, and the cuisine is good, though on the pricier side.

The parking was the one tricky part. You need a key to get into the underground garage, and of course you don't have one when you first arrive, so I spent a while looking before I found a free street spot. The hotel itself has a lovely feel, with really friendly staff. Dinner was excellent, and sitting by the fireplace felt so cozy. Our room was well equipped and didn't seem dated. Breakfast looked lovely too, and we enjoyed some nice conversations.

The restaurant's old paintings and ceiling murals give it a cozy, interesting feel. Breakfast is almost lavish, and the staff are very friendly. Everything was spotlessly clean. It's a traditional hotel that's run very well, a great country hotel. If you're nearby, it's definitely worth staying the night, even if that means driving a few extra kilometers.

The Wi-Fi didn't work properly, though maybe being offline for a bit isn't the worst thing. I did wonder about the €1 charge for a bottle of water in the room, since that's standard at a lot of hotels now. The rustic restaurant is lovely, with a short, well put together menu and consistently tasty food. The staff's recommendations are worth taking, and the beer comes fresh from the tap. It gets busy even on weekdays. Our room was clean and nicely furnished.
