We were seven people and booked at short notice, but everything went smoothly. The rooms were fantastic, the breakfast plentiful and delicious, and both the hosts and staff were wonderful. Highly recommended.

It's so peaceful here, just the place to come if you need some quiet. The food is delicious, the service is amazing, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Guests get a warm welcome. I'd definitely recommend it.

The food is incredibly good, and the chef will do his best to meet your wishes. Even with his illness, he's absolutely brilliant. The room was spotless and gets cleaned every day, and the hotel staff were super friendly. Highly recommended 👍❗❗

I found this hotel completely unacceptable. The room floor is damaged, the bathroom is dirty and badly repaired, and some pump or compressor type of noise runs during the night and wakes you up. The welcome was deeply unfriendly and there was no service to speak of. I asked when booking whether breakfast would be available and was told it would. The room sign said from 6:00 AM, but breakfast wasn't served until 8:30 AM. That is not acceptable at all. It doesn't deserve even one star.

My family and I had a lovely weekend getaway, and we're grateful for it. This really is "in the middle of the Bavarian Forest". The food and accommodation are very reasonably priced, and I'd recommend it for any kind of short break. You can find out the rest for yourself!
