Dinner was especially good for vegetarians and vegans, which is unusual to find out in the countryside. We felt completely at home in the carefully renovated old farmhouse, both the hotel and restaurant, and the service was so warm and the amenities great. A couple of small things: the music could be quieter, especially the local radio at breakfast. I’d asked ahead about vegan or vegetarian breakfast choices, including soy milk, but none were available, so breakfast didn’t match the dinner options.

I really enjoyed my meal at kastanjehoff. The dining room was peaceful, the food and starters were tasty, and there was a good range of drinks. The waiter and staff were very friendly, and the service was great.

The meals were beautifully presented and excellent. There’s a good menu, too, and the beer garden is lovely. Service was warm, attentive, and friendly.
