We’ve stayed here twice now, and we’d come back whenever we’re in the area. The lobby bar is good, the staff are nice, and there’s parking and WiFi. Our room had everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of attractions nearby. Breakfast was very good too.

The breakfast was lovingly put together and made for a relaxed start to the day. I also enjoyed the heated indoor pool, with loungers and a pleasant outdoor terrace. This is a clean, family-run hotel in a great spot, with the bus stop and beach right outside. The staff are friendly throughout, and I felt comfortable from arrival. If I’m back in Timmendorfer Strand, I’ll stay at Hotel Ancora again.
