Baltic House Timmendorf

The beach is about a 3-minute walk away, at section 34, with a friendly beach chair rental right there. We also managed to extend our stay by one night easily, which was really convenient. The apartment feels much larger than many holiday rentals and is beautifully furnished, with lots of thoughtful touches. Everything was spotless and organized, and the instructions for the appliances were clear. They'd stocked useful basics like salt, pepper, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, and baking paper, plus there were ice cubes and some coffee left by previous guests. There are handy features throughout, including motion-sensor lights in the hallway and bathroom, a washer-dryer, a full separate freezer, dimmable lights, and a TV with the usual channels. The basement sauna is a highlight too, spacious and cozy, with loungers, a relaxation room, and its own shower. It was well kept and relaxing. Getting in and out was easy. There's an electric car charger, and the elevator goes from the underground garage almost to the apartment door. The garage is tight, and the entrance is only 1.90m high, so take care. A guide could help with maneuvering, though patience was enough for us. We spotted a few small things, like a loose screw on the sun lounger, dead remote batteries, and a broken fridge drawer. The balcony had a lot of furniture, which is just a matter of taste. None of it got in the way of a great stay. This was one of the best places we've stayed, and we'd happily return to Apartment Möwe in Baltic House.
